The MM4128A / MM4129A series are dual protection ICs designed for 2-cell lithium battery packs. They monitor the voltage of each individual cell and allow configurable delay times. Upon fault detection, the output signal can be maintained for a fixed duration, ensuring a consistent disconnection time for the fuse. Additionally, the IC's discharge function helps reduce high cell voltage after fuse disconnection, preventing battery degradation by stopping the voltage at a safe level.
